Britanny Stockwell

Instrument; Violin instruction

Availability; Wednesday evenings.

Background:
Brittany's experience with music and children is extensive. For almost 15 years she took private violin/viola lessons. She was also involved in many other musical groups such as band, orchestra, group lessons and orchestra camps during which she acquired not only the skills to be a polished performer and musician but also acquired the ability to help foster other musicians' aspirations as well. She began babysitting at the age of twelve and became a professional nanny during her early college years while studying to become a teacher. Brittany has experience with children of all ages and has taught and tutored violin/viola students over the years.
She has performed all over the country as well as in numerous weddings for fifteen years. During middle and high school she auditioned for and was accepted with high scores to participate in the Massachusetts State District and State Orchestras with violin for one year and viola for two. And with the Whitinsville Christian School Orchestra she participated in tours to Louisiana, Mississippi and the Dominican Republic.
Overall, Brittany's musical expertise includes both performance and teaching and she wouldn't want it any other way.

I enjoy helping children learn and I will forever be grateful for the power music has to help people of all ages grow and learn. I look forward to sharing the magic of music with others on a daily basis through my performances as well as through private lessons with aspiring musicians!
